How much does a MI-BOX container hold for a typical Santee home?

Our 16-foot container holds roughly three to four rooms of furniture, about the same as a 20-foot moving truck. For a full four-bedroom Santee home including appliances, the 20-foot container is the better fit.

Can I keep the container in my Santee driveway during a remodel?

Yes. Containers placed on your own driveway typically don't need a City of Santee permit. If you're in an HOA community, check your CC&Rs on temporary structures.

Do you deliver to Santee Lakes and the neighborhoods around Mission Trails?

We deliver throughout Santee, including the areas around Santee Lakes, Carlton Hills, Carlton Oaks, Sky Ranch, and along Mission Gorge Road.

Does MI-BOX serve the cities around Santee?

Yes. We deliver portable storage containers to El Cajon, Lakeside, La Mesa, Alpine, and across San Diego County.

Santee Portable Storage Containers

Santee is a family town, and family towns generate stuff: bikes, camping gear for Santee Lakes, sports equipment, and the garage full of it that eventually needs sorting. MI-BOX delivers a portable storage container to your driveway so you can clear the garage, remodel the kitchen, or move across town without renting a truck or driving to a facility on Mission Gorge Road.

Our own trucks and drivers handle delivery and pickup throughout Santee, from the newer neighborhoods near Town Center to the established streets off Carlton Hills and Magnolia.

Driveway space to use it. Most Santee homes have the flat, two-car driveway that makes a 16- or 20-foot container easy to place and easy to load. That's not true everywhere in the county.

Loading on your schedule, not the rental counter's. Fill the container over a weekend or over a month. There's no return deadline and no second trip.

Stay or go. Keep the container on-site through a remodel, or have us pick it up and store it at our secure, camera-monitored facility until you need it back.

Garage conversions, room additions, and kitchen remodels are steady work in Santee's 1970s and '80s housing stock. A MI-BOX container in the driveway gives the crew clear floors and gives you a place to reach the coffee maker on week three. Our renovation storage page walks through how homeowners set it up before demo day.

For moves, whether it's across Santee or out to Alpine, load once and we deliver the container to the new address. Compare container sizes: a 16-foot box handles three to four rooms, which covers most Santee single-family homes.

Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve is the heart of it: seven lakes, camping, fishing, and paddling ten minutes from most front doors, with Mission Trails Regional Park and its canyon trails just west. It's the kind of East County community where kids ride bikes to the park and weekends are spent outside.

For us, Santee is straightforward to serve and a pleasure to work in: wide streets, real driveways, and homeowners who know exactly what they want cleared out. We deliver here every week.
