Will a storage container fit on a narrow Solana Beach lot?

In most cases, yes. Our 8-foot container takes up about one parking space, and our team can place it in short driveways and side yards. Send us a photo and we'll confirm the right size before we schedule.

Can I keep a container on-site during a remodel in Solana Beach?

Yes. Rentals are month to month, so the container stays as long as your project runs. A container on your private driveway generally doesn't need a permit, but street placement may need approval from the City of Solana Beach.

My HOA has rules about temporary structures. Can you help?

Yes. We can send container dimensions and photos for your HOA request, and we'll schedule delivery once you have approval. If on-site placement isn't allowed, we can store the container at our secure facility instead.

What areas near Solana Beach does MI-BOX serve?

We deliver to Del Mar, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, Carmel Valley, and the rest of San Diego County.

Solana Beach Portable Storage Containers

Solana Beach is small and almost fully built out. Bluff-top homes west of the coast highway sit on narrow lots, the streets around Cedros Avenue mix cottages with newer builds, and the neighborhoods east of I-5 have more room but plenty of HOA rules. MI-BOX delivers a portable storage container sized for the space you have and sets it level with our LevelLift system.

We serve all of Solana Beach, from Fletcher Cove and the Lomas Santa Fe corridor to the neighborhoods near San Elijo Lagoon.

Placement that respects the lot. Coastal Solana Beach lots are narrow and often landscaped to the property line. We set the container exactly where we agree, with no dragging and no tilt.

HOA-friendly sizing. Many communities east of I-5 have rules on temporary structures. Our container sizes include an 8-foot box that fits in a single parking space, and we can send dimensions for your HOA request.

One load from start to finish. Fill the container at home, keep it on-site, or have us store it at our secure facility and bring it back when you're ready.

Home renovation is the biggest reason Solana Beach homeowners need extra space. Kitchen remodels, bath updates, and full rebuilds on older bluff lots take months, and a container in the driveway keeps the furniture safe and the floors clear. See how it works on our renovation storage page.

Shops along Cedros Avenue can use a container for seasonal inventory and showroom changeovers; our retail storage page explains the setup. For household moves, we deliver portable storage containers in San Diego County door to door with one load.

Solana Beach packs a lot into a small town. The Cedros Avenue Design District lines up home decor shops, galleries, and cafes a block from the train station, and the Belly Up Tavern has booked live music there since the 1970s. Fletcher Cove gives the town its main beach access, with the bluffs stretching north and south from it.

It's also a place where every square foot of a lot counts. Our drivers know the narrow streets west of the highway and the tight turns near the cove, and they plan each placement before the truck arrives.
